This policy describes how Price Error Hunter handles information associated with this website and its beta alert services.
Website data
The public website is static. Price Error Hunter does not currently operate its own advertising trackers or website analytics on this site. Hosting and linked third-party services may process technical information under their own policies.
Product hunt and deal-check requests
If you submit a product hunt or retailer deal-check request, Price Error Hunter uses the product/model or URL, email address, and any optional target price, condition, or region you provide to evaluate the request, determine whether PEH has a permitted evidence or monitoring path, and contact you about that specific hunt. A request does not automatically create continuous monitoring and does not enroll you in unrelated marketing.
Hunter beta waitlist
If you submit a Hunt for the Founding Hunter Beta, Price Error Hunter uses the information you submit only to evaluate potential beta participation, understand aggregate product demand, contact you about the Hunter beta, and administer that limited-access program. The form asks for a first name, email, Hunt query, and buying urgency. Target price, category, brand, model number, product requirements, and willingness to provide feedback are optional.
Hunts receive an opaque public-safe identifier. The identifier is not derived from your contact information and is not an authentication secret. Hunt details, contact information, notes, and referral attribution are kept out of public website exports.
Waitlist submissions are processed by the website hosting provider. They are not used to enroll you automatically in unrelated marketing. You may request withdrawal or deletion using the privacy contact below.
Alert-service data
If you interact with a Price Error Hunter alert channel or bot, the relevant platform may provide account identifiers, messages, or interaction data needed to deliver and manage that service. Price Error Hunter uses such information only as needed to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the beta service.
Merchant and partner links
When you follow a link to a merchant, marketplace, booking provider, Telegram, or another third party, that service's privacy practices apply. Some outbound links may be affiliate or referral links.
Data sales
Price Error Hunter does not sell personal information to advertisers.
Security and retention
Reasonable safeguards are used for beta-service data. Information is retained only as needed for service operation, troubleshooting, legitimate business needs, or legal obligations, subject to the capabilities of the third-party platforms involved.
