Price Error Hunter is an early-stage shopping-intelligence startup founded in September 2026 by Eduardo Burgos.
PEH helps consumers determine whether a price is actually a good deal by comparing exact products against current market evidence instead of relying solely on advertised discounts or manufacturer reference prices.

Customers can submit products or retailer listings for analysis. PEH researches current market pricing and returns one of four evidence-based recommendations:

Claude and PEH
Price Error Hunter is integrating Anthropic's Claude into its reasoning layer for shopping evidence that requires semantic interpretation.
Claude is being incorporated for bounded reasoning tasks such as product and variant interpretation, bundle and promotion analysis, evidence synthesis, and clear recommendation explanations.
Deterministic price calculations, validation rules, confidence gates, budget controls, and execution remain in code. PEH uses AI where semantic reasoning adds value rather than delegating deterministic pricing or safety decisions to the model.
Built for real purchase decisions
PEH is operating with live Public Hunt intake, automated current-market research, customer receipt and result delivery, four recommendation outcomes, closed-beta real-user testing, and a public record of selected historical analyses.
